The findings from this year’s study clearly indicate that the industry is ready for the change in basic assumptions required to achieve true collaboration.

However, the question regarding who takes the first step may still be a barrier to overcome.

Here are a few of this year's findings:

  • 69% cannot find the information needed to make informed decisions.
  • 54% of architects and engineers, and 61% of contractors receive incomplete information.
  • 76% Say that the main methods to track and document project decisions are through meeting minutes and 59% note decisions in email.
